Streaming Media Production 3-Hour Workshop

Interested in implementing streaming media into your business or just want to create your own entertainment empire? Dana Greenlee is offering a 3-hour workshop covering an introduction to streaming audio and video encoding using Real, Windows Media and MP3. Participants will incorporate steps from concept to production to a final webcast that can be your own radio show or a way to market your expertise or business online.

This workshop is held at Tacoma Community College's Downtown Center in Tacoma, Washington and runs from 1 pm - 4 pm, Saturday, June 5, 2004.

This non-technical course for beginners will cover website optimization strategies with the search engines. Learn the basics to achieve high listings in the major search engines for your Web site: differences between search engines and directories, contextual ads, Google's PageRank system, building link popularity, anchor links, reciprocal links, how to stay out of trouble with the search engines, sponsored link strategies and the process of submitting your pages to the search engines.

Dana Greenlee

Dana Greenlee produces, engineers and hosts “WebTalkGuys Radio”, a weekly talk show on the radio, on CNET Radio and the XM Satellite and as a webcast, encoding over 400 shows and interviews into the three major streaming media formats. She also produces and encodes “The Streaming Media Radio” show for StreamingMedia.com as well as for KVI 570 AM’s “Real Estate Radio”. She is president of Loudvox Productions, a digital audio production studio specializing in streaming media and audiobook production. Dana is also a former radio personality from Los Angeles and has worked in television production for KNBC-TV and KVCR-TV in California. She has worked for Amazon.com in the areas of customer service and website editorial. Dana writes a weekly technology column - Net Views - for the Tacoma Daily Index newspaper. She has a passion for cyberculture and mass communications.

Rob Greenlee

Rob Greenlee is the founder and host of WebTalkGuys Radio Show for the past four years and has many years of extensive experience working for and or being a marketing and technology consultant to companies such as ShopperBox Networks, FreeInternet.com (formerly Freei.Net) LoudVox Productions, LoanTek, PayByCheck and Personal Design Concepts. He has also spent many years as a consumer products marketer for several fortune 500 companies such as Chiquita Brands, Conagra and with the Florida Citrus Industry promoting and marketing Florida Citrus products such Tropicana, Minute Maid and Fresh Florida Citrus. He is also a Guinness Book of World Records Holder, for building the World's Largest Glass of Orange Juice. Rob is a life long resident of the State of Rainy Washington and has been working on the web since 1996, when he built the first Florida Citrus Industry web site for the Florida Department of Citrus at www.floridajuice.com.
